Why I Built Mindset
My first migraine hit when I was 16. My vision blurred, my hands went numb, and a blinding pain set in that didn't let go until the next day. That attack was my introduction to a condition that became a constant presence in my life for years.
Like a lot of you, I did what I was told. Doctors handed me prescriptions for when an attack hit — but no one seemed focused on stopping them from happening in the first place. So I started researching on my own, and found something that changed how I thought about my own migraines: people with migraine often share specific nutrient deficiencies, and addressing them can make a real difference.
The catch? Almost every migraine supplement I found got it wrong. Wrong forms the body can't absorb. Doses far below what the research actually used. Filler ingredients with no evidence behind them at all. The science existed — nobody had built a product that followed it.
So I did. I spent years developing our first formula for migraine, working alongside medical experts and using clinical research as my guide — not marketing claims, not trends, just what the studies actually showed. The result, for me: my attacks went from every few weeks to nearly nonexistent.
What I learned wasn't only about migraine
Then people started asking about other things. Sleep. Energy. Recovery. Stress. And I kept hitting the same problems I'd hit the first time — forms the body can't use, and a cabinet full of bottles nobody actually keeps up with.
So Mindset became bigger than one formula. Today you can build a pack around whatever you're working on, from a formulary of doctor-formulated, third-party tested formulas — portioned into a single daily pouch, so there's nothing to sort, count, or remember.
Our migraine formula is still here, and it's still the reason any of this exists. But the thinking behind it — get the forms right, get the doses right, make it something a person can actually stick with — is now behind everything we make.
Less migraine. More life. That was my version of it. Yours might be something else entirely — but the job is the same: make the right thing easy to keep taking.
